Another ‘restoration’…. Mrs ‘M’ in Oxford had had her DFE Gas Fire condemned as being unsafe to use in her Victorian Cast Fireplace. She had tried many places without success looking for a solution until she found Mr. Gas Fires who was able to get a replacement DFE Gas Fire ‘tailor-made’ to fit her fireplace. This was fitted along with a replacement fret and some repair work to her fire opening and it is now working well again.
